Patrick Leonard helped himself to the $207,978 first-place prize of the POWERFEST #46-H: $1M Gtd NLH event, a tournament that attracted some of the best poker players in the world. Leonard was the last surviving member of Team partypoker after Roberto Romanello bowed out in 34th place; with 32 places paid, it was a tough exit for Romanello.
A min-cash in this event was worth $10,608 but Leonard had his eye firmly on the $207,978 top prize. The final three players were all guaranteed a six-figure score, but it was Leonard he banked the biggest prize of the night and the title of POWERFEST champion.

“letsgodancing” is almost $200,000 richer than at the start of Sunday after he triumphed in the POWERFEST #48-H: $1M Gtd Main Event. Team partypoker’s Joao Simao, who has enjoyed a stellar POWERFEST, bust in 10th place for $13,860 and narrowly missed out on another final table appearance.
Simao’s performance was excellent but letsgodancing outshone everyone, claimed the title and the $195,720 first-place prize.
