partypoker released a software update on Saturday 24th February that saw a number of significant improvements made to your playing experience. The changes to the existing tables rolled out with the changes reflecting the feedback we have received from you, our valued players.
If you downloaded the latest update, you will see some key improvements such as:
- The re-introduction of the oval-shaped table alongside the existing table design
- New and improved player plates that have larger fonts
- Player notes with an improved display
- A completely new time-bank indicator
- Several smaller enhancements to improve the look and feel of the tables
Use the new partypoker table for the KO Series
The KO Series kicked off one day after the new software release, which gave you the perfect opportunity to put it through its paces. Featuring 164 events with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 up to $5,200 and with combined guarantees of $10 million, the KO Series is not to be missed.
Each of the 164 events are progressive knockout tournaments, which means everyone who enters a tournament starts with a bounty on their heads. Eliminate a player and you receive a cash prize while the value of your own bounty increases as a result, which makes you a more valuable target for your opponents and adds an exciting and unique dynamic to each event.
Sunday 25th February saw the first KO Series Championship Event shuffles up and deal. It cost $200+$15 to enter and had a whopping $1 million guaranteed prize pool. Some 3,856 entries were processed and they were all outlasted by “BigOrator” who walked away with $84,557 for winning plus an addtional $33,750 in bounty payments for a total prize of $118,307.
If you missed out on that $1 million guaranteed KO Series event, there are six more Championship Events scheduled on March 4th and two of them have $1 million guarantees.
