Oh boy the elimination of Phil Hellmuth in third place has blown this group wide open, he’ll collect eight points for finishing third in this heat. The flop actually made Hellmuth a 54% favourite, the turn though swung the pendulum Esfandiari’s way as he was now a 67% favourite and the river sent the chips his way.

Group A is now wide open and the last heat is shaping up to be an all-time cat and mouse classic.
