Expanded ‘Big Blind display’ feature amongst other changes

partypoker has today rolled out the latest round of software developments to its Windows desktop client, making for a more rounded, optimised playing experience.

Players can now view all the important information relating to every tournament at a glance, within the new and improved tournament lobby area.

Info such as tournament status, late reg info, in-play stack sizes, remaining/registered players, prizepool info and more is displayed either side of a new digital clock that provides a snapshot of the tournament’s progress.

The revamped tournament lobby also brings the following new features:

  • Enhanced Player list function
  • Quick access navigation tabs
  • ‘Position/stack’ feature

Today’s update complements various changes implemented by partypoker recently, including the expansion of its popular ‘Big Blind’ display feature that lets players view their stack size in terms of Big Blinds.

Players can now convert their bet slider, along with all bets and pots into Big Bling values to assist with decision-making throughout all stages of a tournament.

Separate recent additions include:

  • Player notes icon
  • Table settings preview
  • Ability to retain table themes

Together these changes have all come about as a result of partypoker’s ongoing pledge to listen to its players, allied with an ongoing drive to improve its core poker product.

Head of Product at partypoker, Ross McQuater said: “The latest round of changes once again underscore our commitment to acting upon our players’ feedback.

We have a clear vision for where we want to take the site and we know we still have a lot of work ahead of us.

There are many further changes planned that will continue to enhance the overall playing experience for our players.”
