Closures form part of a concerted drive to make partypoker safest place to play poker
partypoker continues to actively investigate fraudulent activity at its tables and can report it closed a total of 48 site-wide bot accounts throughout August 2019.
A breakdown of the 48 closures reveals 36 accounts belonging to partypoker’s global dotcom market and a further 12 accounts registered to the site’s ring-fenced doteu license, leading to the seizure of $148,668 and €29,495 in player balances, respectively.
The latest monthly crackdown brings total account closures resulting from fraudulent activity to 649 since December 2018, with a subsequent $1,174,758 and €164,878 forfeited and redistributed to affected players.
partypoker encourages players to continue reporting all suspicious activity at its tables, by emailing reports@partypoker.com. partypoker promises to investigate all incidents reported.
The poker room continues to invest in resources aimed at safeguarding the safety of its players, spearheaded by a specialist Poker Fraud Team comprising a collection of former poker professionals whose duty is to investigate suspicious activity and aid partypoker in ridding the site of unscrupulous accounts.
The site pledges to update players on the account closures made every month.
