Yesterday we asked the question who you thought would be the last woman standing in the World Poker Tour National London Main Event. Well that question has been answered and it is Emma Tolley (pictured) who is flying the flag for the female contingent.
Xuan Nguyen’s exit happened when Elior Sion opened from late position, Nguyen three-bet all in for 100,000 with what turned out to be [Tx][Tx] and Sion called with [Ax][Qx]. Nguyen’s tens stayed ahead on the flop, but Sion was propelled into the lead when an ace landed on the turn. The river bricked off and Nguyen’s demise was completed.
Tolley is still going great guns here in the Main Event and has around 400,000 chips at her disposal. Most of those chips came from this hand on Day 2. Be sure to check it out.
