Team partypoker’s Natalia Breviglieri is without a doubt one of the top female poker players globally, and also one of the top overall poker players currently active on the live circuit.
Breviglieri has been previously ranked Europe’s No 1 GPI female poker player AND currently sits in the number 1 spot for most amount of cashes in partypoker Live tournaments. She has also been a constant name and presence in several prestigious tournaments around the world, including finishing an impressive 4th out of 819 entrants, in the 2016 Las Vegas WSOP No Limit Hold’em Ladies Championship, netting just over $45,000.
Earlier this year the British player was crowned “Queen” of the Kings Casino, Rozvadov in Czech Republic, where she triumphed over the competition to win her first partypoker LIVE trophy in the charity event and then went on to reach the final table in the partypoker MILLION event ending with a €32,500 payday!
Natalia has certainly developed a reputation for reaching final tables. Her earnings are currently around $271,174 showing continuous growth.
The formidable Breviglieri has sat down with partypoker and answered five questions about her poker origins and the current state of her game.
partypoker: How old where you when you started playing poker?
Breviglieri : As a young teenager I used to play a lot of card games with my family mostly with my Nana (grandmother). Then started watching poker on TV when I was 16, my first experience of live poker was when I was 19, in a local pub league.
Which has been your favourite live event in 2017 so far, and why?
I have to say MILLIONS at Dusk Till Dawn for this one, the atmosphere was electric! It was fantastic to see so many heroes under roof and in my local card room! It was great to be part of such an incredible and memorable event!
At which live event stop have you had the most success at this year?
Without a doubt – Kings Casino, Rozvadov! Not only did I finish in 1st place and win €10,000 for my local charity, I then when on to win my first partypoker Live trophy and another final table result in the partypoker Million event, eventually finishing in 6th place for €32k
Which upcoming event are you most looking forward to and what do you hope to achieve?
I’m very excited to be heading to Punta Cana for the CPP in November! The schedule is incredible and it would be a dream come true to win any of the events especially the $5 million GTD Main event!
What do you like most about partypoker at the moment?
I’m very impressed with the new lobby and the endless huge guaranteed events when I’m not traveling to and from live events it’s hard to keep me away from my laptop! Not forgetting the upcoming Monster series!
