The first MILLIONS event of 2019 sees a $5 million guaranteed MILLIONS South America Main Event take place at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and you could be heading there armed with a $12,000 package thanks to partypoker.
MILLIONS South America is the first MILLIONS event to take place in the samba capital of the world, in a city famous for its extravagant carnivals and features the first MILLIONS Main Event to be held in South America.
Copacabana Palace Hotel is located on the seafront of the famous Copacabana Beach, you know, the one Barry Manilow sang about in 1978. The luxurious hotel features the Michelin-starred MEE Restaurant, Ristornante Hotel Cipriani, a half-Olympic-sized swimming pool and 239 rooms and suites. The MILLIONS South America Main Event takes place between March 20th and March 25th. The event costs $10,300 to buy into, but you could be jetting off to sunny Brazil armed with a $12,000 MILLIONS South America package thanks to the satellites running right now online at partypoker.
MILLIONS South America Satellites
There is a MILLIONS South America Final: 10 x $12K Packages Gtd taking place every Sunday at 22:00 CET from January 13th.
You can buy into these finals direct for $1,050 and sit down with 500,000 chips, or try to win your way into a finals via the MILLIONS South America Phase 1 satellites that run every day at 22:00 CET.
These Phase 1s cost $109 to enter, although you can win your way into them from as little as $0.55 thanks to the feeder satellites.
Players in the MILLIONS South America Phase 1: 10 x $12K Packages Gtd sit down with 50,000 chips and play 26 levels of eight-minutes each. Anyone with chips in front of them after the conclusion of Level 26 makes it through to the next available weekly final where 10 x $12K packages are guaranteed to be won.
It is possible to play in as many Phase 1s as you wish, but you can only take your largest stack through to the final if you make it through more than once; all other stacks are forfeited.
Should you go on to win one of the $12,000 MILLIONS South America packages, partypoker will reward you with:

- $1,700 towards travel expenses
