The latest edition of the PartyPoker MILLIONS Online KO series is underway, and the big scores are already flowing. Dozens of tournaments have crowned their champions, including the exciting MILLIONS Online KO Opener and the Sunday Party; both smashed their guarantees.
The opening weekend also saw the first flight for the $530 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed Main Event take place. All in all, it has been a busy few days at PartyPoker. These are the results from the biggest events so far.
Odeen Takes Down the Opener
Some 873 players bought into the $162 MILLIONS Online KO Opener for $162, creating a guarantee-busting $130,950 prize pool. Of those starters, 132 made it through to Day 2 with a min-cash of $156 to show for their efforts, plus whatever bounties they collected along the way.
By the time the final table was set, and with those precious bounties included, none of the seven PartyPoker players at the final table captured less than $1,807, with the top two finishers netting five-figure sums.
Vyacheslav Balayev was the first finalist to fall ($1,807) before being joined by Callum Gordon ($2,665), Allison Luan Lima Eleres ($3,768), and Robertas Gordanas ($4,456).
The Opener progressed to the heads-up stage when Mexico-based star Dominik Siegl bowed out in third ($6,526), leaving Swedish grinder Jerry Odeen heads-up against Brazilian Elvis Renan.
Renan had eliminated 14 opponents on his way to the heads-up battle with Odeen, but he couldn’t register that all-important 15th and had to make do with a bridesmaid finish. Second place, with bounties included, weighed in at an impressive $12,934, leaving Odeen to be crowned the MILLIONS Online Opener champion, an accolade that came with $17,006 in prize money.

Vamos! Da Silva Demolishes Sunday Party
PartyPoker players were in force for the MILLIONS Online edition of the Sunday Party. By the time late registration slammed shut, there were 1,620 entrants, meaning the $150,000 guarantee was surpassed by $12,000.
Five of the nine players that made their way through shark-infested waters to reach the Sunday Party final table hailed from Brazil, so it was unsurprising to see Brazil’s famous green and yellow flag displayed next to the eventual champion.
As the final table got underway, a trio of Brazilians fell by the wayside. Johnathan Wolter ($1,817), Raphael Perfeito ($3,993), and Joao Gabriel Stazite ($1,825) headed into the night.
Blair Payne ($2,625) of the United Kingdom joined the list of eliminated players, with Sweden’s Emir Borovac ($4,913) joining the Brit on the rail. Fourth place and $5,906 went to Brazil’s Danil Pires Martiani before Bulgaria’s Boyan Toshev ($7,586) crashed out in third, leaving Andrey Luis Da Silva in a one-on-one battle with Cosmo Bendtsen of Denmark.
The Brazilian defeated the Dane heads-up and banked an impressive $17,389 for the victory, leaving Bendtsen to reel in $10,263 for his runner-up finish.
