Four members of Team partypoker have started March in amazing style by locking up impressive victories online and in the live arena.
Kristen Bicknell, Sam Trickett, Patrick Leonard, and Jordan Drummond all secured big scores during the past couple of weeks. Let’s take a look at what they won!
Kristen Bicknell Wins Title in L.A.

Kristen got her hands on the $71,970 top prize of the $2,140 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed event at the WPT L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles.
Some 148 players bought in and created a $295,260 prize pool that the top 25 finishers shared. The likes of Nick Pupillo, Joe Serock, and Ray Qartomy made it into the money. Those exits made the waters less infested with sharks, but there was still plenty of work to do.
Kristen found herself heads-up when fellow female star Kelly Minkin crashed out in third-place. This pitted Kristen against Taylor von Kriegenburgh and she got the job done, sending the American to the showers in second-place.
This latest victory pushed Kristen’s live poker tournament winnings closer to $5 million. She’ll smash through that barrier sooner rather than later, of that there’s no doubt.

Sam Trickett Secures Super High Roller Sochi Trophy
Sam Trickett is no stranger to playing against the world’s best players, but this latest result was a massive achievement. He was one of 58 entries in the $25,000 buy-in partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Super High Roller Series Sochi event and ended as the last man standing.
Jason Koon, Ben Heath, Sergi Reixach, Michael Addamo, and Cary Katz busted before the money. Brothers Luc and Sam Greenwood also crashed out, as did Stephen Chidwick, Mikita Badziakouski, and Seth Davies.
The final table was a star-studded affair, as you’d expect from such an event. Sam remained unfazed throughout.
Household names Phil Ivey, Timothy Adams, Adrian Mateos, and Mathias Eibinger fell by the wayside. The latter’s exit left Sam heads-up with Ivan Leow of Malaysia. Lady Luck was shining down on Sam as his ace-four came from behind to beat the ace-queen of Leow to get back to winning ways.
Place | Player | Country | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Sam Trickett | United Kingdom | $435,000 |

Jordan Drummond Announces His Arrival With Big Game Win
Jordan “The Undecided” Drummond joined Team Online on February 11th and hasn’t waited long to start crushing.
The $5,200 buy-in Big Game smashed its $500,000 guarantee thanks to 124-players entering. They needn’t had bothered because Jordan was in incredible form and there was only going to be one winner.
Everyone at the final table banked at least $18,715, but Jordan had his eyes on the six-figure top prize. He got his hands on it, a cool $141,086, by defeating partypoker regular “NOLIMITHOLDEM” heads-up for the title. What a way to celebrate one month sporting the famous partypoker diamond.

Patrick Leonard Crowned High Roller Phased Champion

Photo courtesy of Mickey May Photos
The High Roller Phased tournament saw 524-entries this week and a possible partypoker one-two was on the cards. Roberto “R_Romanello” Romanello busting in 10th place for $3,320 put paid to those ideas because it left Patrick Leonard flying the flag.
And fly it he did because Patrick was the last man standing to lock up the lion’s share of the $251,550 prize pool. Patrick padded his bankroll with an impressive $46,889, what a guy!
