There’s no doubting PartyPoker.com’s the best place to experience the thrill of real-money online poker. But did you know we are also the gateway for players looking to experience the the buzz of high-stakes, live action?

One PartyPoker.com regular who can’t get enough of the live stuff is Bodo Sbrzesny. Today he’ll be sitting down with a whole host of superstar players (Tony G, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot, Jamie Gold, Robert Williamson III and Roland de Wolfe to name but a few) for 36 hours in our exhilarating Poker Den: The Big Game.

But this isn’t his first big live event of 2008; it’s his third.

Through his commitment and dedication to the game, and the superb promotions run on PartyPoker.com, 29-year-old Bodo’s been to Las Vegas for the WSOP and won a place on the PartyPoker.com Million VI cruise already this year.

“It was nice to be on the cruise,” said Bodo. “It was really well organised by PartyPoker.com with the cocktail evenings, the extra cash games, the food and drink. As for Vegas, it was my fifth time there so the city wasn’t new to me, but the event was great. I didn’t reach the money but I have a good feeling for the next year.”

Bodo, from Bruchsal, Germany, started playing poker at the end 2005 when he gave up being a tennis coach. “I try to play poker as much I can, especially in good promotions that give me good deals for my playing time,” he said.

When we asked him why he’d had so much success, Bodo said: “Some people say I never tilt. I think it is because I am very motivated. I never give up and always give my best. I am a sportsman and fight until the end.”

As a poker coach as well, Bodo generously gave out one of his personal tips – keep your own records with a tool like Poker Tracker. “Your decisions are made a lot easier with stats,” he added.
