Sunday 25th November saw a remarkable feat achieved at the partypoker tournament tables. The player known as “Junglemandan” did the unthinkable and won both the partypoker MILLION and The Big Game, padding their bankroll with a combined $258,450.
Winning two major online poker tournaments in a single day is a fantastic achievement in its own right, but these performances were something special. The partypoker MILLION had the largest overall field while The Big Game is one of the toughest tournaments in the online world thanks to its $5,200 buy-in which attracts the cream of the crop to the partypoker tables.
Here’s how the action went down in the events Junglemandan won.

Only 770 of the 4,568 entrants made it through to the final day of the partypoker MILLION and 664 of those reached the money.
TeamOnline’s Travis “DramticDegen” Darroch, fresh from his third-place finish in this tournament last week, busted in 749th. “evgenchik” was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble, their 665th place finish securing a $470 payout for everyone who still had chips in front of them.
“Trip2Pluto” won the first four-figure prize when they collected $1,040 for their 136th place finish. This prize increased to $9,400 by the time the final table was set.
“Renan Santos” was the eighth-place finisher and walked away with $9,400. They were joined on the rail first by “notSPARKLINGwt” and then by “NewYorkJimmY” who secured payouts of $14,610 and $20,780 respectively. NewYorkJimmy would ultimately join Junglemandan on the final table of The Big Game too.
$30,630 went to “damilsoldi” for their fifth-place exit before “Tasha” busted in fourth and turned their $215 into $44,600. Now the prize money was serious and the payjumps significant. “youcanfold” crashed out in third-place for a $68,500 score, which left Junglemandan and “Edoiler99” to lock horns heads-up.
There was a near $50,000 difference between first and second-place but no deal was struck despite this. This meant “Edoiler99” had to make do with the $106,800 runner-up prize while Junglemandan banked the massive $153,000 reserved for the champion.

This week’s Big Game saw 74-entries processed and a guarantee-busting prize pool of $370,000 created. This princely sum was shared among the top 10 finishers, with each of the eight finalists banking no less than $15,725.
“BuddyRW” banked this sum when they became the first casualty of the final table. “Achtungdiekurve” collected $17,575 before NewYorkJimmY got their hands on the $20,350 sixth-place prize, a remarkable achievement after also finishing sixth in the partypoker MILLION.
“Sundaynightking” added the $25,900 fifth-place prize to their bankroll while “SovseFlemming” saw their partypoker bankroll swell by $33,300. The penultimate elimination was that of “MoStack” who scooped $49,950 when their tournament ended abruptly in third-place.
Junglemandan once again found themselves heads-up in a Sunday major, this time locking horns with “patience”. Again, no deal was struck despite a $33,000 difference in payouts. This worked in Junglemandan’s favour as he emerged from the one-on-one battle victoriously and won the $105,450 top prize, resigning patience to a $72,150 consolation prize.

The partypoker blog reached out to Junglemandan after their impressive brace of victories and they had this to say about their ridiculous Sunday session.
“It was a pretty unique accomplishment because I don’t know how many people have ever had 2 6-figure wins in a day before. Also, one was the toughest field of the day and the other was the biggest field, so that felt good to be able to conquer both types of fields.”
Obviously, Junglemandan is a fan of these tournaments having done the unthinkable and won them both on the same day, but they are also a fan of the new structures that allow for reasonable finish times without compromising the quality of the structures.
“They ended within 30 minutes of each which was nice. I like that party has made the structures so that all MTTs end around the same time, regardless of start time or field size. You know you won’t ever have to be up too late to finish a tournament.”
