MILLIONS Europe is set to be one of the highlights of the year when players head to Casino Barcelona this week, with several off-the-felt events planned that will make it a series to remember.
The festival is running until Sunday, June 12, 2022, with the live leg beginning this Thursday, June 2. Proceedings have already begun on partypoker.com, with the Online Day 1 for the €3,300 buy-in Main Event kicking off the festival last Sunday, ahead of the Live Day 1s to be held at the venue. Satellites for the Main Event will be running at Casino Barcelona before each flight.
partypoker can now confirm a host of activities that will be running alongside the tournament schedule at La Taverna bar to add to the excitement when players are away from the tables.
We start by putting players’ musical knowledge to the test on Friday, June 3 in the Blind Test. Teams of two-to-four players will have to guess the title and artist of a selection of songs, and the winning team can enjoy a 30-minute jet-ski experience.
Players who rate themselves as performers away from the table as well as on it will then have the chance to take part in a karaoke night on Sunday, June 5 and Thursday, June 9. The players who are brave enough to get on stage and sing will have access to a free open bar.
Festivities will continue on Tuesday, June 7 with a beer pong competition. Participants can sign up in teams of two players and once again compete to win a jet-ski experience.
Famous names from poker and beyond will come together on Wednesday, June 8 to play in a live-streamed Celebrity Sit & Go tournament. Players appearing in the tournament include Team partypoker’s Carl Froch, MaximusBlack , and Matt Staples, with more names to be confirmed. Players will compete for special packages for MILLIONS UK, which will take place at Dusk Till Dawn and will begin in late November.
Many of us have sharpened our quizzing skills in recent times, and the Poker Quiz Night on Friday, June 10 will be challenging players on their general knowledge. The top two quizzers will each receive a goodie bag, and the winner will again claim the jet-ski experience.
Saturday, June 11 will bring the perfect chance for players to celebrate the business end of the series in style with the MILLIONS Europe Players’ Party. The party will start at 22:30pm CET and will run until 02:00. There will be an open bar and a challenge where players can win a $1,000 seat for an upcoming partypoker LIVE event.
Performing at the party will be deep house DJ Veronika Fleyta. Veronika has played sets around the world at established dance music aficionado hotspots such as Cova Santa Ibiza, Burning Man, AfrikaBurn, ADE, and many more.

Aside from all the events, the partypoker LIVE Pop Up will be open throughout the series, located close to the poker room at Casino Barcelona. Players are invited to come and beat the staff at giant versions of Connect 4 and Jenga and win some MILLIONS Europe merchandise, as well as a range of tickets to future partypoker LIVE events.
You can keep up with the action through partypokerTV — partypoker’s Twitch channel — which will live-stream several tournaments in the series, including the Main Event. Commentator Henry Kilbane will be joined by partypokerTV debutant Melissa Schubert. Melissa is a Vegas-based player and a regular on the Only Friends poker podcast.
