Just eight players remain in the World Poker Tour National London Main Event and in around 30-minutes time they will return to the Aspers Casino Westfield at Stratford City and battle it out for the title of champion.
There is a strange dynamic to this final table in that the two chip leaders, Elior Sion and Rasmus Larsen, hold between them 55% of the total chips in play. Larsen is seated in Seat 9 and Sion in Seat 1 meaning the two biggest stacks could be involved in the dreaded blind-versus-blind scenario with lots of chips at stake.
At the opposite end of the spectrum is Carlo Citrone who will start with just 66,000 – or five and a half big blinds. Despite nursing a micro stack, Citrone has some suited and booted so he must be confident that he will not be picking up eighth place money today.
The other finalists, in chip count order, are Reece Lewis, Emma Tolley, Robin Fisher, Kevin Williams and Wang Weikang.
Seat 1: Elior Sion – 1,731,000
Seat 2: Emma Tolley – 513,000
Seat 3: Reece Lewis – 692,000
Seat 4: Carlo Citrone – 66,000
Seat 5: Robin Fisher – 473,000
Seat 6: Kevin Williams – 394,000
Seat 7: Wang Weikang – 300,000
Seat 8: Rasmus Larsen – 1,268,000
