There’s no direct buy-in for this special satellite, you must win your way in via one of the Phased satellites. These come with buy-ins of €1.10 (Phase 1) or €11 (Phase 2). It’s possible to win a place in Phase 1 for only €0.01. Yevhenii Dushko recently turned a $0.01 satellite into $19,184 prize in the Caribbean Poker Party Main Event so anything is possible.
What Are Irish Poker Masters Phase Satellites?
Don’t be worried if you’ve not played in a Phased satellite before because the concept is simple. You can buy into the phase satellites at any stage you wish. Entering the Irish Poker Masters Phase 1 satellite sees you sit down with 10,000 chips and play to three-minute blinds. The aim is to make it to the end of the 18th level. Do this and you take your stack through with you to the next available Phase 2.
Phase 2 players who buy-in direct for €11 instead of playing their way in via a Phase 1 receive 100,000 chips. Play lasts for 21 levels, each five-minutes long, and anyone with single chip in front of them at this stage progresses to the final at 21:00 GMT on November 28 where at least 15 partypoker players will bag a €1,100 Irish Poker Masters seat.
You can enter as many Phase 1 and Phase 2 satellites as you desire, but only your largest stack is uploaded to the next phase should you make it through more than once.
