Huge PPC UK Festival Hits partypoker and DTD From April 16

We only recently crowned our first ever partypoker Players Championship (PPC) champion when Oliver Hutchins took down the inaugural PPC Malta Main Event, turning a €109 satellite into a €74,000 score, but we are wasting no time in unveiling the latest PPC festival: PPC UK.

PPC UK, like the Malta iteration, runs online at partypoker and at a live venue, that venue being the home o British poker, Dusk Till Dawn. The online section runs from April 16 to April 27 at partypoker, with the live section kicking off April 28 and running through to May 2.

PPC UK Online Events

April 16 at 19:05 BST is when the first PPC UK online event shuffles up and deals; the $200,000 guaranteed Opener. There are a handful of $162 buy-in Day 1s for you to flex your muscles in as you attempt to progress to the final day on April 18. A deep run in the Opener will set you and your bankroll up nicely for the rest of the series.

The online PPC UK schedule is awash with exciting events, but two stand out from the crowd.

Event #08 is the Mini Main, which is only mini in name. It commands a $109 buy-in, although there are satellites galore planned for it, and comes with a prize pool that awards not a penny less than $250,000. Day 1s run from April 22-24 with the final day kicking off on April 24 at 19:30 BST.

You can also start your quest for Main Event glory from the comfort of your home or on the move via the feature-rich partypoker Mobile poker App. Two online Day 1s for the £550 buy-in £500,000 guaranteed PPC UK Main Event are scheduled. They start at 20:05 BST on April 24 and April 27.

Each online Main Event Day 1 concludes when only 15% of the field remains. Anyone with even a single chip at this time makes it through to Day 2, which takes place at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham, United Kingdom, on May 2. Reaching Day 2 means you are in the money, and a min-cash will hit your partypoker account within 24-hours of your Day 1 finishing.

PPC UK Live Events

The live section of the PPC UK festival runs from April 28 through May 2. While it is dominated by the £560 buy-in £500,000 guaranteed Main Event, there are several side events for players to get their teeth into.

A £2,200 High Roller, with a £100,000 guarantee, gets the show on the road. Complementing the Main Event are side events such as Win the Button, a £340 freezeout, the £250 DTD Cup, a bounty tournament, and the series-ending Closer.
