They say that all good things must come to an end, and that is true of the Grand Prix KO Autumn Edition, which concluded today, October 24. Only four events have not yet crowned their worthy champions, but that will happen today in the $109 Main Event, the $11 Mini Main Event, the $320 6-Max High Roller, and the $33 Closer.

The Grand Prix KO Autumn Main Event
More than 4,500 PartyPoker players have entered the $500,000 guaranteed $109 buy-in Main Event, but nobody has accumulated more chips than Brazil’s Victor Hugo Bonifacio. The Brazilian has turned his 100,000 starting stack into a tournament-leading 2,383,859 in addition to accumulating more than $320 from the bounty prize pool.
Arkadiusz Pleskot (2,188,283), Artur Chekailo (2,184,015), Stefan Reiser (2,111,757), Jiri Havlena (2,096,029), Mindaugas Jonaitis (2,063,330), Lucas Cubas (2,061,095), and Manuel Carvalho (2,033,790) each return with more than 2,000,000 chips in their stacks.
The Grand Prix KO Autumn Mini Main Event
The $11 buy-in $100,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event looks set to break through 10,000 entrants, with 9,905 players having already bought in across the completed Day 1s. Again, it is a Brazilian who leads the way, with Anderson Bortoloni returning with 3,183,030 chips, the only player with more than three million betting tokens. Bortoloni also has $39.06 worth of bounties in his PartyPoker account, so has already profited from this event, such is the way with bounty and knockout tournaments.
The Grand Prix KO Autumn 6-Max High Roller
There is a clear leader in the $320 buy-in $200,000 guaranteed 6-Max High Roller event, too. Alan Carr of the United Kingdom shone brightly on his Day 1 and saw his 100,000 starting stack turn into 2,076,054 plus $881 worth of scalps. Carr’s nearest rival is Bulgarian grinder Yovilin Peychev on 1,474,395 chips.
The Grand Prix KO Autumn Closer
Only a handful of big blinds separate the top two players in the $33 buy-in $100,000 guaranteed Closer event. Brazil’s Alexandre Souza Santos is the man to catch, courtesy of his 2,350,747 stack but German star Dominik Kopitzke is hot on his heels with 2,302,938 chips.
Bruno Henrique De Oliveira Bezerra (2,111,204), Oliver Gamble (2,093,405), and Anze Smajd (2,057,037) round out the top five chip counts presently.
