The partypoker Community Poker Knockout is back, with some famous faces from the world of football making an appearance, and one carrying a special $1,000 bounty on his head.

The third edition of the tournament takes place on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 7pm BST, and comes with a $20,000 guarantee for a $5 buy-in. The tournament is a progressive knockout event that any registered player can enter, and includes players from a number of online communities. Each participating community selects one special bounty player, who carries a $50 bounty for any player who can knock them out.

On top of this, if a special bounty player is knocked out by a player from the same community, the winning player will also be able to claim an exclusive prize offered by their community. These special prizes include an Xbox Series S, a PS5, a gaming laptop, $500 cash and a £500 tech bundle.

Chelsea Legend John Terry Is In The House!

There will be a particularly special guest appearing in the latest Community Poker Knockout, as former Chelsea and England defender John Terry will be representing the Daily Mirror community.

Eliminating Terry out would be particularly lucrative for any player, as his special bounty will be a juicy $1,000 in tournament dollars. This would be the largest amount of tournament dollars ever to have been won in the event.

In a glittering playing career, Terry won five Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, five FA Cups and three League Cups with Chelsea among other honours. He also represented England at four major international tournaments and earned 78 caps for his country.

Terry said: “I am very excited to be in the line-up for the partypoker Community Poker Knockout on Thursday 9th September at 7PM. I have won many prizes in my career in football, and I have always been extremely competitive, so I cannot wait to get stuck in on partypoker and take a shot at the title.

“I will be staunchly defending my bounty, but with a massive $1,000 tournament dollars up for grabs, feel free to try and beat me and land yourself a big score.”

Take On These Football Stars

One of the other football names going up against Terry will be another former Aston Villa man in Gabby Agbonlahor, who will be playing for the Sporf community. Agbonlahor represented the Villains almost 400 times, scoring 86 goals.

Kevin Stephens is another former footballer, but you may know him better as social media sensation “StevoTheMadMan”. Stephens, who will be playing on behalf of, has made a name for himself filming himself in everyday life situations.

Meanwhile, Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard will be carrying the special bounty prizes on offer for players in the partypoker community.
