Multi Table Tournament players at partypoker will probably have seen a number of tournaments labelled as DTD Tickets or DTD Mini and DTD Micro in the lobby. These special events are jam-packed with value and are a gateway to playing in bigger, more prestigious online and live events.
As their name suggests, these tournaments award tickets that can be used to enter the tournaments that partypoker and Europe’s premier poker club, Dusk Till Dawn, run together, giving you the chance to play for huge sums of money for a small initial outlay.
Not everyone is aware of the concept of this ticket system or what they can be used for, but by the time you’ve finished reading this article you will no longer be in that camp.
DTD Ticket tournaments explained
DTD ticket tournaments run throughout the day at partypoker and have buy-ins ranging from a mere $0.10 and increasing to $120, meaning there is a tournament to suit all bankrolls and skill levels.
Each of these DTD tickets tournaments award entries to the next highest buy-in event so the $0.10 awards entries to the $5.50 level, the $5.50 event generates entries to the $27.50, the $27.50 awards tickets to the $120 level, with the $120 buy-in DTD Tickets tournaments awarding its winners a $550 entry.
As you can see in the graphics below, the DTD Tickets concept is simple enough and gives you the opportunity to play in a $550 buy-in spectacular for as little as $0.10! Think of them as qualifiers or satellite tournaments if you wish, except when you win a ticket they stay valid for 12-months so you have the flexibility to choose when you want to use them.
What are the DTD Micro and DTD Mini tournaments?
A question often asked is what are the DTD Micro and DTD Mini tournaments and the answer to this is “they are awesome!”
These amazing tournaments cost $5.50 (Micro) or $27.50 (Mini) to enter and they have a $1,000 and $5,000 guaranteed prize pool respectively that is distributed according to the usual partypoker payout rules. However, there is one major difference and that is the top 10 finishers are awarded DTD tickets in addition to winning a cash prize.
Finish in the top 10 of the $5.50 buy-in $1,000 Gtd DTD Micro and collect a $27.50 ticket and do the same in a $27.50 buy-in $5,000 Gtd DTD Mini and be rewarded with a $120 ticket for your effort.
When do DTD Tickets tournament run at partypoker?
By now you’re probably itching to play some of these superb tournaments and wondering when you can buy in and get involved. The graphic below gives you the details such as start time, when late registration ends, what the guarantee is and more.

All you need to do is get your hands on at least two $550 DTD Tickets, use one of them to buy into a Live Day 1 at Dusk Till Dawn and convert the other one to cash at the cashier desk at the Dusk Till Dawn club.

Great idea with exchanging extra DTD tickets for covering expenses, I’m totally on board now, the only question is when these 550 tournaments take place…
They can be used in the $550 games online and for the £300+£30 games that run at Dusk Till Dawn, namely the Monthly Deepstack where there are several events at that price.
