Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated in eighth place and cannot qualify for the finale. Negreanu acted completely out of character when he busted out, throwing his chips across the table where some spilled onto the floor (video footage to follow!)
In Negreanu’s exit hand, Jungleman opened to 12,000 with and he was called by Daniel Negreanu with , Antonio Esfandiari with , Sam Trickett with and Scott Seiver with . Jonathan Duhamel then shoved for 250,000 with . This forced Jungleman to fold, but Negreanu called. The other active players stepped out of the way.
Both Negreanu and Duhamel improved to a pair on the flop but Negreanu was way in front. It stayed that way as the landed on the turn. The river was the , improving Duhamel to trip fours and Negreanu inexplicably shoved his chips across the table not once but twice, causing massive disruption here in the Premier League. And causing an impromptu break in play whilst the stacks – which are tracked by the television crew – were reconstructed.
