Thirty-four players sat down on the penultimate day of the WPT Online Championship with Sam Greenwood leading the way. The field gradually whittled down with the likes of Max Silver, Simon Higgins, former WSOP Main Event champion Martin Jacobson, Matthias Eibinger, and Ami Barer busting.
Belarus’s Dmitry Yurasov was the ninth-place finisher. He collected $51,120 and his exit set the official final table.
Swedish star Christian Jeppsson is the man to catch going into the final table. The Swede has a shade over 17.5 million chips in his arsenal. Only seven opponents stand between him and $1,048,087. Each of those opponents has reached this Stellar final table on merit and any of them will be a worthy champion.
Sam Greenwood returns second in chips with a stack of 16 million while Pascal Hartmann is in a healthy position, sitting down with almost 15 million chips, enough for third-place.
Alexander Clark has 14.4 million chips with everyone else sitting behind between 2.2 million and 9.1 million betting tokens.
Play resumed at 20:00 CET and the action is being streamed on our Twitch channel.
