KO Series #21 Main Event Day 1B Top 10 Chip Counts
Some 770 players turned out of Day 1B of the KO Series Main Event and only 116 of them managed to navigate their way through to Day 2. “CarpePiscis” finished this flight with 2,840,118 chips which claimed the Day 1B and overall chip lead. They will certainly fancy their chances of making it to the final table later today.
It’s worth noting CarpePiscis is already showing a profit in this $1,050 buy-in event because the eight opponents they busted were worth a combined $3,625!
“SrackAttack” has done their chances of glory no harm at all either. They finished with a healthy stack of 1,756,562 chips, placing them second on the Day 1B leaderboard and in third-place overall.
Play resumes at 19:05 GMT with all 179 Day 1A and 1B survivors in the money. They’re guaranteed $1,044 plus bounties right now, with this increasing to $7,736 by the time Day 2 concludes and only nine players remain.
KO Series #21 Mini Main Event Day 1B Top 10 Chip Counts
A huge crowd of 2,321 players bought into the $109 Mini Main Event on Day 1B and only 348 of those punched their Day 2 tickets. One player who shone brightly during this flight was none other than “Skrapapa”.
The claimed the Day 1B chip lead courtesy of turning their 100,000 starting stack into an impressive 3,039,036. This stack is enough to lead the tournament overall and is the only stack containing more than three million chips.
Skrapapa has also accumulated $400 worth of bounties already so has almost tripled their original $109 investment. Should they go all the way and take down this tournament, they are looking at a combined haul worth at least $40,000!
Players such as “kristian150”, “spand4226” and “RomarioEhGol” are among those to watch for on Day 2 at 19:05 GMT. They all finished with more than 2.5 million chips each.
KO Series #21 MicroMain Event Day 1B Top 10 Chip Counts
“pizzadelivery” certainly delivered on Day 1B of the $11 Micro Main Event as they shot to the top of the chip counts with a 2,755,739 stack. Although this was enough to be crowned the Day 1B chip leader, that stack is only big enough for fourth-place overall.
Some 451 of the 3,008 players made it through to Day 2. This means a total of 841 players return to the action at 19:05 GMT on January 18. They’re led by Day 1A’s “Stro” who is in pole position right now.
Day 2 plays out until only nine players remain. The tournament is then paused until 19:05 GMT on January 19 when the final table commences.
