It was a great weekend for members of Team partypoker with a handful of impressive victories in our Power Series events. One of the most impressive triumphs came from former world champion boxer Carl Froch who took down the High Roller Bounty Hunter $40K Gtd on January 12th.

Froch was one of 74 entrants in the $530 buy-in freezeout and he came out on top of a star-studded field to get his hands on a score worth $12,040 made up of a $5,863 first-place prize and $6,177 with of bounty payments.

The victory was made sweeter by the fact the eight-handed final table housed some of online poker’s greats. UK-based Belgian “omgitsgiraf” busted in seventh-place while Sweden’s “Doyle_B” was the sixth-place finisher. Froch eliminated “santi7866” in second-place to get his hands on the lion’s share of the $40,000 prize pool.

Impressive Results For Roberto Romanello

Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello took down the Sunday High Roller Bounty Hunter: $50K Gtd to turn $530 into a combined score worth a cool $13,021.

Romanello came out on top of a 99-strong field to scoop the top prize and almost $7,000 worth of bounties, including that of runner-up “x_zola25”. Third-place went to the high stakes specialist “Chelsea72” who is a regular at the biggest partypoker tournaments.
