Yulian Bogdanov is on cloud nine this morning after helping himself to a MILLIONS Online KO title at PartyPoker. Bogdanov, who hails from Bulgaria, came out on top of the $215 buy-in $200,000 guaranteed 6-Max Championship, and took home $32,631 when including bounty payments.
The multi-day event drew in a crowd of 1,111 entrants, who ensured the guarantee was surpassed by $22,200. Some 165 of those starters made it through to Day 2, each with a min-cash in tow, plus any bounty payments they picked up along the way.
The Day 2 field was littered with established names that would not have looked out of place in a tournament commanding a buy-in ten times the size of this one. Those who cashed in the 6-Max Championship included former MILLIONS Online Main Event champion Endrit Geci, Jerry Odeen, Niklas Astedt, Michael Sklenicka, Kenny Hallaert, and another MILLIONS Online champ Benjamin Chalot.
There was also a cash prize for our very own Patrick Leonard.
Seven PartyPoker players took their seats at the final table knowing they were only six eliminations away from becoming a MILLIONS Online KO champion. Those seven became six when Elias Suhonen of Finland bowed out, and banked $2,317 for his efforts.
Brazilian Gustav Cerejeira fell in sixth for $4,289 before Team PartyPoker’s Matt Staples bowed out in fifth for a $6,043 addition to his bankroll.
Henrique Coutinho fell in fourth for $7,851, which was the last payment not to weigh in at five figures.
Heads-up was set when Eugenio Peralta ran out of steam in third place. The Brazilian, although disappointed not to emerge victoriously from this high-stakes event, must be pleased with the $12,587 he collected.
Peralta’s elimination left Bogdanov heads-up against the United Kingdom’s John Adderley in a battle for the massive final bounty payment. Bogdanov got the job done and added an $18,226 bounty to his $14,405 first-place prize for a total haul worth $32,631. Adderley headed into the night with a $17,848 consolation prize.

Brazilian Bulldozes His Way to Sunday Party Victory
The MILLIONS Online KO edition of the popular Sunday Party beat its guarantee again thanks to 1,522 players creating a $152,200 prize pool. Half of that princely sum went onto the heads of each player, with the remaining 50% shared among the top 263 players.
Players from Brazil occupied five of the final table’s nine seats, so it was unsurprising to see the famous green and yellow flag displayed next to the worth champion. Indeed, it was a Brazilian one-two in the end.
Once the like of Eduardo Custodio ($2,349), Nathan Rose ($2,389), Bruno Lopes De Castro ($1,910), Aleksandr Balashov ($2,341), Malte Schirmacher ($3,039), Michel Perreira ($4,432), and Euan Baxter ($7,332) had busted, Guilherme Rimbano and fellow Brazilian Lazaro Tupy locked horns heads-up.
Both players guaranteed themselves more than $8,600 from the main prize pool, and both had captured several bounties on their way to heads-up. Rimbano came out on top and reeled in a score worth $17,471, leaving Tupy to collect a still respectable $13,650.
