*all players who finished in the money also received a $109 GPPT Day 1 ticket

A staggering 3,217 entries were processed over the various Day 1s, which were open to any player who could access the partypoker.com client. Only 350 of those players received money, meaning the worst position to finish would be 351st. The dubious honour was bestowed on the UK Team Challenge champion Adam “ballerbone” Bone whose exit meant anyone with chips in front of them had locked up $201.03 in cash and a $109 GPPT Day 1 ticket.

By the time the final table was set, the minimum payout was more than $3,600. The UK’s “capspense” was the first to bust from the nine-handed finale, followed by “Ofbraveheart,” “Mondatoo,” “Fatface66,” and “thehat23.”

With only four players remaining, everyone was guaranteed a five-figure score, the first of which, weighing in at $12,630.45, went to “Mr.Zebra,” who was followed to the rail by Germany’s “scheibel2006” ($17,176.60), leaving Poland’s “disconcerting” and Brazil’s “joaosimaobh” to lock horns heads-up.

The battle went joaosimaobh’s way, meaning he won the $42,643.33 first place prize, resigning his opponent to the $25,359.86 runner-up award.
