Day 6 of the $40 million guaranteed POWERFEST continued on Friday 11th May with the crowning of another 24 champions, including another winner of a POWERFEST Championship Event.
Those 22 events awarded a cool $1,649,570 in prize money, taking the total prize money paid out to $16,978,134 over the course of the first six days. We have now officially reached the halfway stage of POWERFEST, in terms of the number of events played, and there are some cracking tournaments coming your way over the next few days.

“Benderbei1” became a POWERFEST champion on Day 6 by outlasting a field of 470-entries in the POWERFEST #31-HR: $200K Gtd PKO to get their hands on $22,148 and an additional $20,845 in bounty payments. This eight-handed affair saw progressive bounties start at $106 each so banking almost $21,000 shows how fantastic benderbei1 played throughout the tournament.
Two other players locked up five-figure scores from the main prize pool: “YoungSAVAGE” was the runner-up and walked away with $15,768 (plus $4,783 in bounties) while “pelicangirl” banked $10,810 ($3,232).

Two members of Team partypoker cashed in POWERFEST #32-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO NL Hold’em. Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard crept into the money, falling in 46th for $1,050 and $2,080 in bounties, while Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell progressed to 17th for $1,770 and $3,575 in bounties.
It was “NoSaalt” who emerged victorious to get their hands on a massive score, namely $35,400 from the prize pool and $35,839 from the progressive bounty prize pool. A special mention has to go to both “dubble_me_up” and “DeanMalenko” who eliminate 11 opponents each for $8,271 and $3,575 payouts.

There was a familiar face at the top of the finishing table in the POWERFEST #32-H: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO NL Hold’em event. The legendary Chris “Therealmoorm” Moorman, who surpassed $10 million in winnings a few years ago by winning a partypoker tournament, topped a field of 1,060 to scoop $16,695 and $9,641 in bounty payments.
Moorman defeated “Pripadai3” heads-up to resign the runner-up to $12,758 and $2,212 in bounties.
