The KO Series #06-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max saw 529 entries of $530 meaning the guarantee was smashed by more than $70,000. The $271,112 prize pool was divided between the bounty prize pool and the main prize pool with the latter paying out the top 72 finishers.
Each of the six finalists locked up at least $5,000 for their effort, when bounties were taken into consideration. “Turbo_boy” from belarus was the first casualty of the six-handed final table and collected $4,363 plus $1,394 worth of bounties.
Sweden’s “zupsherlock” lost their stack to bust in fifth place, a result worth more than $7,500 in total, before “Louise Banks” of Germany crashed out in fourth place for almost $17,000.
Third place and more than $23,500 went to Malta’s “Paul07new” and this exit set up a heads-up clash between “lipkinator” of the United Kingdom and “DrunkSpewer” of Malta. It was a battle the Malta-based grinder went on to win, securing $19,689 from the main prize pool and $22,936 worth of bounty payments. Lipkinator, who won a KO Series event on Day 1, had to make do with $19,662 plus $2,961.
