Hold onto your hats ladies and gentlemen because the latest incarnation of the Pokerfest Championship is upon us and it is going to be bigger and better than you ever imagined. With 76 events to get your teeth into and more than $2 million in guaranteed prize pools, the 2014 Pokerfest Challenge is going to be nothing short of amazing.

To say we’re excited for the Pokerfest Championship is an understatement of epic proportions, but we managed to calm ourselves down ever-so-slightly to bring you a Pokerfest by the numbers article so you can see what is about to go down!

More Than $2 Million in Guaranteed Prize Pools!

We are guaranteeing that we’ll pay out at least $2 million to those who are skilful enough to reach the money places in the 76 events. When the Pokerfest ran in March, we paid out $1,119,611.20 and this time around we’ll be paying more than $2.24 million! How much will you win?

76 Events Over 15 Days

We’ve added an additional nine tournaments into the mix compared to March’s Pokerfest and these 76 events take place over a 15-day timeframe. You’re going to have to keep yourself sharp and focussed otherwise you’re going to miss out on a whole host of fun – and those huge prize pools! Plan which events you will play by checking out the full Pokerfest schedule.

Three Buy-In Levels

Like in previous edition of Pokerfest, there are three buy-in levels available so that players of all skill levels and budgets can get involved.

  • Low: $1 to $5
  • Medium: $10-$50
  • High: $100 and above

$10,000 Pokerfest Leaderboard

Throughout Pokerfest we are running our famous Low, Medium and High leaderboards (customers from the UK are not eligible for leaderboard prizes) that will see six people win WPT500 packages worth a cool $1,100! In addition to WPT500 packages, players can win tournament tickets to the $500 buy-in High Roller, the weekly $200K Guaranteed Sunday and between $50 and $100 tournament dollars!

Six Six-Figure Events Including a $300K Main Event!

This time around we’ve decided to put out necks on the line and in addition to some already huge guaranteed prize pools we’re running no fewer than four events that have six-figure prize pools!

The first two of the massive sextuplets take place on the opening day of Pokerfest, Sunday 19 October. At 14:00 ET (19:00GMT) the $200 buy-in Pokerfest #6 takes place that features a $250,000 guarantee. Slightly later in the day, at 15:30ET (20:30GMT), the $500 buy-in High Roller kicks off sporting a $150,000 prize pool.

It is a similar story on Sunday 26 October when we again run the $250,000 NLH Freezeout and the $150,000 Super High Roller freezeout (a $1,000 buy-in event that is sure to attract some of the biggest names in world poker.)

The final pair of six-figure prize pools occur on the final day of Pokerfest on Sunday 2 November. This is the date that the $300,000 guaranteed Pokerfest Main Event begins in addition to the $150,000 High Roller.

Remember, there are a plethora of satellites tournaments feeding into the Pokerfest events so you could be playing for life-changing sums of money for a relatively tiny outlay.

$43,598.53

Denmark’s lede007 walked away with a bankroll-boosting $43,598.53 when he outlasted 1,768 opponents in the previous $300,000 Guaranteed Pokerfest main Event back in March. This latest Main Event should pay out even more to first place thanks to us tweaking the payout structures so that less of the field is paid, but the prizes are even larger!

Whether you’re a low stakes player or a high stakes grinder you do not want to miss out on the chance to be part of something special because the Pokerfest Championship is exactly that, special. Be sure to check out the extensive list of satellites in the partypoker lobby and complete the Pokerfest Challenge in your account for cash bonuses! We’ll see you at the final table!
