Russia has a Monster Series champion after “LornaDoom” triumphed over 1,148 opponents in the Monster Series #24-H: $50K Gtd 6-Max PKO on Monster Series Day 6. First place in this exciting PKO event awarded $3,725 to LornaDoom and they also collected $4,115 worth of bounties on their way to victory.
Heads-up saw LornaDoom lock horns with Brazil’s “RodrigoBMz” and it was the former who emerged victorious to resign the runner-up to a $3,719 consolation prize that was boosted by $388 from the bounty prize pool.
All six players who reached the final table won at least $1,000 when bounties were taken into consideration, perfect timing for the four Championship Events this Sunday, June 9th.
Four Championship Events take place on June 9th costing $2.20, $11 and two $55 buy-in tournaments. They have guarantees of $10,000, $50,000, $150,000 and $200,000, the latter being a PKO event.
Buy into the Championship Events direct or try to win your way into them for one-tenth of their buy-in by entering the last remaining Phase 1 tournaments. You know it makes sense.

The Monster Series #23-H: $40K Gtd 6-Max Deepstack attracted a field of 819 players on Monster Series Day 6 and it was one of our own who excelled. Team partypoker’s Day “daykotoviezy” Kotoviezy, pictured at the top of this article with Netherlands’ Steven van Zadelhoff, navigated her way to heads-up with Denmark’s “Talentino111”.
When heads-up, the last standing pair discussed a deal for the remainder of the prize pool and that deal saw Kotoviezy finish in second place for $5,969 with the champion securing a $6,120 payout.
Earlier at the final table, “impresyw” busted in sixth-place ($1,228) and was followed to the rail by “Neecooo” ($1,842), “OhhMyJorge” ($2,661) and Lithuania’s “Simonas17” ($3,890).

Another big PKO event on Monster Series Day 6 was the Monster Series #26-H: $25K Gtd 6-Max PKO Fast that saw 973 players create a $30,649 prize pool.
The lion’s share of that money is now in the partypoker account of Brazil’s “anisbr” who emerged victorious to scoop a $1,990 first place prize and an additional $2,363 worth of bounty payments, including that on the head of “kamikonzis” who locked up $1,986 an $521 from their home in Russia.
A mention has to go to fourth-place finisher “Uri3lV3ntris” who banked $679 worth of bounties in addition to the $1,010 main prize pool prize; only our champion claimed more bounties.
