Monster Series returns to partypoker from Sunday 10th March and runs through to Sunday 17th March during which time there are 194 individual tournaments with combined guaranteed prize pools in excess of $2.5 million.
Online poker tournament players from around the globe are set to turn out in force for the latest edition of Monster Series. This low-to-mid stakes festival features exciting tournaments with buy-ins starting as low as $2.20 and increasing to $55.
There are a wide range of different formats to get involved with, including freezeouts, re-entries, Progressive Knockout (PKO), Deepstacks, turbo and fast blind structures taking place on 6-max, 8-max and Mix-Max tables, the latter seeing players start the tournament on eight-handed tables before switching to six-handed in the later stages.
Each of the eight Monster Series days takes place on a set table size, as shown in the table below.

Massive Opening Day
Sunday 10th March is the first of eight scheduled days of action for Monster Series and over $500,000 guaranteed to be won on this day alone.
The first three tournaments shuffle up at deal at 15:30 CET costing $2.20, $5.50 and $22 to enter, yet despite these low buy-ins the guarantees are set at $10,000, $20,000 and $50,000 respectively.
Set your alarms for 20:00 CET on Sunday 10th March because four massive PKO tournaments kick off and they are not to be missed. You have the chance to play for a share of a guaranteed $150,000 for $55 in the Monster #03-High: $150K Gtd PKO event, with $22 buy-in ($75,000 guaranteed), $5.50 buy-in ($15,000 guaranteed) and $2.20 buy-in ($5,000 guaranteed) tournaments also available.

No Rake on the Bounty Element of PKO Events
Our PKO tournaments have been extremely popular since their launch thanks in part to the bounties being bigger due to partypoker not charging rake on the bounty element of the buy-in.
For example, in the Monster #59-High: $200K Gtd Championship Event PKO on Sunday 17th March, the total buy-in is $55. Of this sum, $27.50 goes into the bounty prize pool, $25 goes into the regular prize pool and only the rake is only $2.50 in total. The rake in this particular tournament is only 4.55 percent.
