“AAligator3399” was crowned KO Series #12-H: $75K Gtd [Mix-Max] champion on November 20th, an accolade that came with a cash haul of more than $15,000.
The Mix-Max format is extremely popular as it puts players’ skills to the test and makes the later stages of the tournament more exciting as play switches from eight-handed to six-handed tables.
The player named after a ferocious beast adapted to the changes best as they chomped their way through the field of 387 entries. Their final victim was “WhoDatt.” who had to make do with a still welcomed consolation prize of $5,727, which was boosted by $3,044 worth of bounty payments.
This meant our champion got their hands on $7,740 from the main prize pool and an additional $7,655 from the bounty prize pool, or an hourly rate of almost $1,700! Nice work if you can get it.
