The name’s Dunst. George Dunst, actually.

Creating a fictitious forename is a prime example of Tony (as he’s best known) demonstrating the same bluffing technique which has seen him rack up over $2.8 million in live tournament cashes. In 2016 he finished second in the Aussie Millions Main Event for a cool A$1,000,000 before going on to secure his first WSOP bracelet in a $1,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event for just shy of $340,000. But there’s much more to this charismatic American than just a solid poker face.

Tony first fell in love with the game in the midst of the poker boom, listening to fellow partypoker Diamond Mike Sexton commentate on the televised WPT tour every Wednesday night. In 2010, partypoker launched a campaign which we called ‘The Raw Deal’, giving viewers the chance to earn their spot as a guest commentator on the show. As soon as we saw Tony’s audition we knew we’d seen someone special and the rest, as they say, is history.
