partypoker screen name: WildHungarian
‘Wild’ is certainly the operative word for Beata Jambrik given her fast and furious playing technique in partypoker Sit & Go HERO games.. Having only started playing poker in 2015, Beata’s love for the game and charming character quickly saw her rack up over 10,000 followers on her online poker streaming channel before officially joining Team partypoker in 2016.
Her biggest win to date came in a $5 buy-in Sit & Go HERO tournament right here on partypoker where a 1,000x multiplier saw her playing for a whopping $5,000 prizepool. Beata was streaming her HERO session live and, although her excitement was obvious, the Hungarian kept her cool. Within minutes she’d locked up $4,250 for eliminating the bounty player and finishing first.

What has been your biggest win so far?
A 1,000x multiplier in partypoker Sit & Go HERO. It was a $5 buy-in and the prizepool was $5,000. I was streaming and felt terrified! First I wanted to knock out the player with a $1,250 bounty, so I knocked them out and I was super happy. Then it got to heads up and eventually I won it, which felt amazing.
Do you prefer live or online games?
I have much more experience online.
What would you say the highlight of your poker career has been?
It's hard to choose but I really did love when I hit over 3,500 viewers on my channel during my stream.
What is your top poker tip?
Work on your mental game, even if you think you’re great at it. Don't let tilt take over during your session, and be aware if you stop playing your A-game.
What else are you known for?
I started streaming poker from the very beginning, so I’m known as WildHungarian from twitch. I've started vlogging on youtube now, so get ready!
Are there any players that you look up to?
I don’t have a poker player idol but recently got to know the partypoker ambassadors and am now close friends with Natalia [Breviglieri], Jackie [Glazier] and the others. I don’t know how partypoker does it but everyone is super nice so I’m really happy here!
If you could play a game of poker with anyone, who would it be?
It would be my friend and partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard. It would be a fun game as we know each other and we are both quite competitive.
If you weren’t a poker player, what would you be?
I’m an Economics major in Accounting and Finance, so I’d probably work for a multinational company.
Do you have a favourite poker quote?
"Life is like a game of poker; you have to play the hand you are dealt. A wise player can play a weak hand and win the game." - Rick Warren
