Have you ever visited Prague? Have you ever visited Prague in the winter? If the answer to either of these questions is no, you need to keep reading because partypoker wants to send you to picturesque Prague armed with a $5,000 poker package this December.
The partypoker WPT Prague Main Event takes place at the Grandior Hotel between December 3 and December 6 and is a must-play event. Costing €3,300 to buy into, the Main Event isn’t for the faint hearted, but you could be playing in it for as little as one cent thanks to the satellites running around the clock at partypoker.
This will be the fifth time a WPT Prague Main Event has run, not including the popular National events that have taken place, and you could be joining the likes of Andrey Pateychuk, Marcin Wydrowski, Julian Thomas, and Javier Zapatero as a player who travelled to Prague with high hopes and returned as a member of the coveted Champions Club.

Feeder satellites starting from $0.01 are currently in the lobby, which eventually feed into the weekly $530 WPT Prague Satellite where at least one $5,000 package is guaranteed. This package awards its lucky winner the buy-in to the partypoker WPT Prague Main Event, with the remainder awarded as spending money, which at time of writing is $1,300.
These weekly satellites take place every Sunday at 2:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. UK / 8:00 p.m. CET with the first one shuffling up on Sunday 16 October, and the final satellite running on Sunday 27 November.
If you qualify for the partypoker WPT Prague Main Event, or buy in directly at the venue, and your quest for glory doesn’t exactly go to plan, you can get involved in some superb side events. Tournaments are running from Wednesday 30 November right through to December 6, and if you don’t fancy grinding away at the poker tables until the early hours, you’ll be in Prague which boasts of being a city with a nightlife like no other.
