How would you like to play in a poker tournament that has a massive $300,000 guaranteed prize pool from the comfort of your own home, or even on the move via your favourite mobile device? Well, at the beginning of May you can do exactly that because the Grand Prix Poker Tour Online returns to partypoker.

Like its live cousin, the GPPT Online costs a mere $109 to enter, yet features a massive guarantee, in this case a cool $300,000. This latest GPPT Online leg has been given the Pure Poker treatment, which means every sits down with 30,000 chips, and the blinds begin at 75/150 with a 25 running ante.

In order to give you the greatest degree of flexibility and a greater chance to progress to the online Day 2, there three Day 1s taking place every day from Sunday 1 May through to Monday 9 May, with one of those three Day 1s being a 6-Max turbo for those of you who prefer your tournament poker shorthanded.

$300,000 GPPT Online Schedule

Each Day 1 lasts for 16 levels (12-minutes for full ring, 8-minutes for the turbos). At the end of the 16th level, we take note of the chip counts of each of the players still in the tournament, before setting everyone all-in to “end” that specific Day 1. Don’t be alarmed if you see this happen, if you had chips at the end of the 16th level then you have progressed to Day 2 – the Day 2 chips will be added manually so don’t worry if they don’t appear right away.

Should you not be happy with the size of your stack when you made it through to Day 2, you can play in another Day 1 – in fact you can play in as many as you wish – but please note that only your largest stack is taken through to Day 2, any others are forfeited.

Two previous editions of the GPPT Online have run, and both were extremely well received by those who played in them, especially the two champions who banked large scores.

“YTheSnaiL”< topped a field of 2,446 players in the inaugural GPPT Online to scoop the $35,000 (including a $109 GPPT ticket), while “AUSS1E_FISH” added $72,391 to their bankroll by topping a field in a special $500,000 guaranteed edition in early April 2016.

Satellites for the GPPT Online start as low as $0.01 while it is possible to buy $109 tournament tickets in the Points Store from between 1,000 and 3,000 points, depending on your VIP level.
