The partypoker World Poker Tour National UK Milton Keynes Main Event is sure to attract some of the best players from the region to the bustling poker room of The Casino MK during the course of the festival, including one man who is essentially freerolling.
Stuart Nash, remember that name, is set to compete in the partypoker WPT National UK Milton Keynes Main Event armed with a package worth a cool $1,000. The package is made up of two seats worth $310 and $380 spending money, although we expect Nash to use that spending money to buy himself into a third flight in order to give himself the best chance of accumulating a stack large enough to see him progress to Day 2 and beyond.
Not only is Nash freerolling here in Milton Keynes, but he is also brimming with confidence after beating one of the world’s best tournament players to secure the $1,000 package. Last week, Nash sat down in a six-handed sit and go tournament with four other partypoker qualifiers and the double World Poker Tour champion and partypoker pro “Mad” Marvin Rettenmaier!
Rettenmaier busted in third place, leaving “hotlimbo” and Nas – playing as “Snashter74” – to lock horns heads-up for the title of champion and, of course, that fantastic $1,000 package. It was a battle that Nash went on to win, leaving hotlimbo with the consolation prize of a $33 satellite token.
Nash now has a chance of winning a $1,000 package to the upcoming partypoker WPT National UK London Main Event, as do any player who has qualified for the Milton Keynes leg via partypoker. Be the last partypoker qualifier in the field and a $1,000 package is all yours. Will Nash be that last man standing or will it be you?
