Day 2 of the Warm Up and Mini Warm Up events crowned their champions on February 28 while the Day 1B of the MILLIONS Main Event was in full swing. Julian Sitbon and Epsen Uhlen Jorstad both became MILLIONS Online champions and padded their bankrolls with some serious cash.

Sitbon Takes Down The Warm Up

Julien Sitbon is the MILLIONS Online Warm Up champion, an accolade that comes with a massive prize worth $78,133! Sitbon came out on top of a 619 strong field in the $1,050 PKO event.

Only 92 players made it through Day 1 and they were all in the money. Team partypoker’s Joni Jouhkimainen was one of the first players to cash. Others who saw a return on their investment included Robin Ylitalo, Adrian Mateos, Dominik Nitsche, Artur Martirosian, Andrii Novak, and Upeshka Da Silva.

All but one of the nine players who navigated their way to the final table walked away with a five-figure score when bounties were included.

Theo Arnoldi crashed out in ninth for a $6,771 score before Daniel Smyth ($13,886), David Coleman ($11,576), Andreas Korn ($17,622), and Joseph Lalor ($25,798) fell by the wayside.

Russian star Vitalii Pankov ($29,740) and Argentinian Matias Gabrenja ($39,896) but the dust to leave only Matthew Eardley and Sitbon in contention for the title. Sitbon got the job done and his hands on a $78,133 payout, leaving Eardley to secure a $56,782 consolation prize.

Jorstad Bags Mini Warm Up Title

The Mini Warm Up was only mini in name because 2,671 players bought in and created a $267,100 prize pool. Epsen Uhlen Jorstad was the main beneficiary of the juicy prize pool because he was the last man standing and locked up the $15,634 top prize plus an additional $11,156 worth of bounty payments.

Jorstad found himself heads-up against Matthieu Rodriguez. Both players were guaranteed more than $15,600 from the main prize pool but the final bounty payment was huge, as these things tend to be. Jorstad defeated his final opponent, the 14th foe he sent to the showers, and claimed the biggest bounty of the tournament.

Shout out to Pavel Plesuv, a partypoker LIVE regular, who navigated his way to a fourth-place finish worth $8,783.
