A third place finish for Sam Trickett has guaranteed the Brit a second consecutive appearance in the Premier League final and he’ll take a stack of 260,000 to it.
He was the shortest of the three stacks when heads-up play began and couldn’t get the double up he needed to give himself a shot at heads-up. In his exit hand he raised to 24,000 on the button with and Jungleman sighed before calling with . On the flop Trickett c-bet 30,000 and Jungleman called. The fell on the turn and both players checked to see the completed the board and Jungleman’s flush.
Jungleman checked to Trickett, he fired 50,000, Jungleman set him in and Trickett started to talk the hand through. “Queen-ten or four-two of hearts he said. It’s sick I know you’ve got a two in your hand because you sigh-called pre-flop.”
Eventually Trickett called, Jungleman showed the winner and Trickett shook both players hands before leaving the table. He’ll face off against them again in the final on Saturday evening.
