Keep your diaries free between February 4, 2016, and February 7, 2016, because those are the dates that the partypoker World Poker Tour National London festival heads to Aspers Casino in Stratford.
Once again Aspers’ super casino plays host to a £100,000 guaranteed WPT National London main event and a handful of side events that are sure to whet the appetite of professional poker players and recreational players alike.
As with previous editions of the exciting tournament, the 2016 partypoker WPTN London Main Event costs £200 to enter (£180+£20), has three starting flights, and is played to the unique accumulator format, which gives players the opportunity to build a massive stack.
The accumulator format is a simple concept that adds a new dynamic to tournament poker. Players can choose to play in one, two, or all three starting flights, and should they progress to Day 2 from more than one of them, they take all of their chips through with them.
For example, Joe Bloggs plays all three starting flights and makes it through to Day 2 on all three. His Day 1 stacks were 60,000, 9,500, and 30,000, this means he returns to the action on Day 2 with 99,500 chips in his arsenal!

The first WPTN London Main Event, in October 2013, saw John Ventre outlast 510-entrants to scoop the £20,250 first place prize. Qualify for the WPTN London Main Event at partypoker
Although the £200 ($350) buy-in is at the more affordable end of the market, we know that players love to try and satellite into live events for a fraction of the tournament’s cost. Those of you who fall under this umbrella should be delighted to learn that there are daily satellites at 15:15 ET (20:15 GMT) every day, up to and including January 24, 2016.
Each of these $22 buy-in satellites awards one seat worth $350 (£200) to its winner, and if the guarantee is hit, any extra prize money is awarded as cash or extra seats should the satellite get enough entrants.
