The Premier League V is really starting to take shape. We have just seen Yevgeniy Timoshenko depose, long-time chip leader, Patrik Antonius to earn himself 16-points in Group B, Heat 2, and very shortly the job of entertaining us falls to the stalwarts of Group A.

Phil Laak won the first heat and Tony G the second. Are the more mature students of the game going to make it three in a row? Or is it time to shine for the likes of Mathew Frankland, Sam Trickett and Luke Schwartz?

We plan to start at 20:00 (CET) but I expect we will run a little later than scheduled. In the meantime here is the current Group A standings.

  1. Phil Laak – 20 points
  2. Tony G – 20 points
  3. Sam Trickett – 14 points
  4. Andy Frankenberger – 13 points
  5. Erik Seidel – 13 points
  6. Eugene Katchalov – 9 points
  7. Mathew Frankland – 8 points
  8. Luke Schwartz – 3 points
