Mix-Max tournaments have been available at partypoker for a while and have proven popular as they different table sizes keep players on their toes. The POWERFEST #53-HR: $150K Gtd 6-4 Mix-Max PKO event was slightly different in that everyone started on six-handed tables before switching to four-handed later in the tournament.

This format meant Team partypoker’s Renato “renato_nomura” Nomura missed out on yet another POWERFEST X final table as he fell in fifth-place for $4,780 plus an additional $1,560 from the bounty prize pool.
