We’re back with our updates of the partypoker Premier League 7 here in the wonderful city of Montreal. Yesterday we saw Jeff Gross win the first heat after what is officially now known as being the longest session of poker in Premier League history!

But to take part in this game each player will need to cough up a respectable $125,000 to enter.  One of the reasons why the Premier League is know the poker world over as being one of the most revered poker events. For much of the night, Koon has sat silently in the background while most of the other players were battling it out. It wasn’t until he became a short stack at risk of elimination with five men remaining that he started to actually play. The patient man endured and picks up 14 points, putting him in a good position in the Premier League VII going forward.

An early casualty here was the previous Premier League Champion Dan Shak being quickly eliminated from play. Shak’s poket Ace’s just couldn’t hold up against Jungleman making a two pair of K9 when the flop came. Now with about 43 hands played, here’s how the chips are stacked.
