Closures form part of ongoing effort to make site safer
partypoker can confirm it closed a total of 67 fraudulent bot accounts throughout June 2019, as part of an ongoing drive to make the site the safest place to play online poker.
A subsequent $24,257 was seized from dotcom account balances and a further €8,888 confiscated from accounts belonging to its ring-fenced doteu market.
63 of the 67 accounts closed came from the site’s main dotcom license with the remaining four registered to doteu.
partypoker encourages players to continue reporting all suspicious activity at its tables, by emailing reports@partypoker.com. partypoker promises to investigate all incidents reported.
The poker room continues to invest in resources aimed at safeguarding the safety of its players, spearheaded by a specialist Poker Fraud Team comprising a collection of former poker professionals whose duty is to investigate suspicious activity and aid partypoker in ridding the site of unscrupulous accounts.
The site pledges to update players on the account closures made every month.
