Vince Van Patten to attend and he is hungry for a prop bet!
The World Poker Tour® (WPT®) heads to King’s Casino in Rozvadov this February for the second major event of the year in the tour’s Season XVIII calendar.
Taking place from February 9-23th, WPT Germany will bring €2,500,000 in guaranteed prize pools spread across 19 separate events, including the €500,000 guaranteed ‘WPT Opener’ that will also see 20 seats awarded to the WPT Germany Main Event, worth €3,300 apiece.
Coming in from Los Angeles especially for the event is WPT commentator Vince Van Patten. Van Patten said: “Last year I was involved as a writer, producer and lead actor in the movie 7 Days to Vegas, which tells the story of a bettors prop bet of walking from LA to Vegas. With the location of King’s Casino being accessible from so many places in Central Europe I want to be dropped off and make my way there, and I am willing to bet on whether I make it carrying no money. Bring it on!”

Start Your WPT Germany Journey Online at partypoker
In line with other major partypoker LIVE-sponsored festivals, players can begin their Main Event journey online on partypoker. On Sunday, February 9, 2020, the site will play host to WPT Germany Online Day 1 and Day 2 legs from 21:00 CET, with all players who successfully make it through to Day 3 receiving a min-cash paid directly into their partypoker account.
The live route will see players gather at King’s Casino for Day 1A at 16:00 CET on Tuesday, February 18th, with Day 1B taking place on Wednesday, February 19th at 12:00 CET. The final Day 1 flight will give players one last chance to compete for the €1.5M guaranteed prize pool on Thursday, February 20th at 12:00 CET.
All players who make it through to Day 3 from either path will join pools to play down to a winner on the Czech German border from Saturday, February 22nd at 12:00 CET.
Other schedule highlights include the €1,100 finale that carries a €250,000 guarantee, plus the €250,000 guaranteed High Roller with a €5,300 buy-in.
The WPT Germany Main Event will be streamed live via partypoker’s official Twitch channels from February 21st to February 23rd to give fans at home the chance to follow all the action live, available in English and German languages.
