Hungary’s Atilla Nagy is another player in the field who is flying the partypoker flag, but he has not been the quickest out of the blocks and is currently sat with 14,800 chips. However, there is a long way to go and Nagy’s 14,800 stack represents 74 big blinds so he is anything but short stacked.
Nagy has been playing poker for more than 10 years, most of that time he was a live player but over the past two years his attention has been focussed on online poker. It was online at PartyPoker that Nagy won his seat to WPT National London and now he is determined to add to his two live scores.
A professional poker player for three years, Nagy has used this tournament as an excuse to have a mini holiday and has been seeing the sights of London with his wife. Should Nagy go on and win here in London, he will use a percentage of the money to buy into more WPT events so he could become a regular on this tour.
Although Nagy looks deadly serious he does have a fun side to him too. He told us that his “English is not very shiny, but I hope to be able to say “ALL IN” as many times as possible!”
