Better known in poker circles as “Mikita”, Belarus’s highest grossing player has amassed over $20m on the live circuit since 2010, racking up over $14m in cashes across 2018 alone, and joins the likes of Patrick Leonard, Fedor Holz, Ike Haxton and partypoker chairman, Mike Sexton on the newly-formed partypoker Player Panel.
A regular fixture in some of the biggest games in the world, Bodyakovskiy recently finished fourth at both the 2018 partypoker Caribbean Poker Party $250k Super High Roller Championships ($700,000) and WSOPE 2018 $100k Super High Roller ($899,658).
Only weeks prior, the 26-year old cemented his reputation as one of the fiercest players in the game after scooping an impressive hat-trick of back-to-back titles, highlighted by a win in the HK$2m Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Main Event worth over $5m.
The Belarusian has also enjoyed considerable success at the virtual tables, boasting over $200k in online winnings under the renowned moniker, “fish2013”.
Something of a child prodigy, Bodyakovskiy excelled at chess in his infant years before later transferring that strategic thinking to poker, a decision that has to date yielded an incredible $20,742,707 in lifetime earnings to put him over $17m clear of the next-placed Belarusian player in his country’s all-time money rankings.
After his 18th birthday, “Mikita” migrated from his native Belarus to Kiev, and now occupies his time travelling the high-roller poker circuit to compete for millions at the world’s premier poker destinations such as Macau and Las Vegas.
