We run a special edition of a Power Series event once a month and December’s chosen tournament was the Sunday Bounty Hunter Special Edition. The buy-in remained the same $33 but we boosted the guarantee to a massive $150,000!
Amazingly, the guarantee was blown out of the water when 5,686 of you fantastic people bought in, creating a $179,109 prize pool for a $33 tournament, which is pretty incredible. This princely sum was distributed among the top 728 finishers with half going into the regular prize pool and half being placed on each players head in the form of a bounty.

Brazil’s “NevilleWeeeee” emerged victorious from the Power Series Special Edition to turn their $33 investment into a cool $21,748. This impressive haul was made up of $13,032 for finishing in first-place plus an additional $8,716 from the bounty prize pool.
NevilleWeeeee’s bounty prize was so substantial because PKO events see the eventual champion also bank the bounty on their own heads, so when Nevilleweeeee sent “THELANCELOT” of Canada to the rail in second-place, they banked $8,716 worth of bounties.
The only player who got anywhere near that amount from the bounty prize pool was third-place finisher “jeffrey1987c” who claimed $2,312 worth of bounties, which was more than sixth-place received, going to show being aggressive in PKO events is worthwhile.
fren86 Banks $62,275
The United Kingdom’s “fren86” got their hands on $62,275 after triumphing over 93 opponents in the Sunday Super High Roller: $200K Gtd, a $2,600 buy-in event. Fren86 defeated “IamPEAKing” heads-up to lock up the title, resigning the runner-up to a $43,475 consolation prize.
