Day 4 of the Monster Series saw another 21 champions crowned and $262,157 awarded to those who finished in the money. This takes the total prize money won so far to more than $1.2 million and we are only four days into the festival!

Almost 1,800 players bought into the Monster #24-High: $50K Gtd event on Day 4 of Monster Series, including Team partypoker’s Renato “renatonomura” Nomura. Things were going swimmingly for our Brazilian star until his tournament came to an abrupt end in 39th place, a result worth $164.51.

At least $604 was locked up by those eight players who reached the final table with everyone finishing in sixth-place of above securing more than $1,300. “Ineedcagari” was the sixth-place finisher and the first person to collect four-figures.

By the time heads-up was reached, the prize money was huge. “MFabrantes” eventually fell in second-place for a $6,325 addition to their bankroll leaving “KingOfTheSWC” to walk away with a cool $8,922 and the title of champion.

Monster #22-High: $20K Gtd Deepstack

“mrpotatohead88” turned their $22 investment into $3,915 in the opening Monster Series event of Day 4, the Monster #22-High: $20K Gtd Deepstack.

Some 1,148 players turned out in force to create a $22,960 prize pool and the lion’s share of that princely sum is now nestled in the partypoker account of mrpotatohead88. They defeated “AsSeb.” heads-up to bank to substantial top prize, resigning the runner-up to a $2,801 consolation prize.

Everyone who finished fourth or better netted more than $1,200. “Zivs2017” won $1,230 for finishing fourth and “jonatas920” is now $1,839 richer after finishing in third-place, going to show you don’t have to risk a lot to win big during Monster Series.

Monster #27-High: $10K Gtd 6-Max Turbo started at 23:00 CET and was done and dusted by 02:37 CET thanks to the five-minute blinds that created some fast and furious action.

“RobinSharma” was the tournament’s champion, outlasting 515 opponents to lock up a $2,418 score. The mathematicians among you will have worked out this equates to approximately $690 per hour, which isn’t a bad hourly rate if you can get it!

Monster Series III: Schedule for Day 5

Another 21 Monster Series events are scheduled for Day 5 of the festival on Thursday 2nd August. They kick off at regular interval from 15:00 CET through to 01:00 CET and have combined guaranteed prize pool worth a cool $205,000.

There is a great mix of different formats to choose from, although two events in particular look incredible value. Look out for Monster #31-High: $50K Gtd PKO at 19:00 CET costing $33 to enter and the Monster #33-High: $20K Gtd Fast at 22:00 CET that costs $33 to buy into.

Monster Series III Promotions

We have a trio of Monster Series promotions that are dripping with value and you can get involved in all three.
