The latest Monster Series is coming your way and you don’t have long to wait to compete in what is going to be an epic poker tournament festival.

What better day to kick off the Monster Series than on Halloween? October 31 sees the first four tournaments of a bustling 82-tournament schedule shuffle up and deal and you’re in for a real treat; there are no tricks to worry about here.

Monster Series #01 – 8-Max gets the Monster Series off to a flying start at 20:30 CET on Halloween. This $33 buy-in affair features a massive $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. There’s also a $3.30 buy-in version that has at least $15,000 up for grabs.

Only two other Monster Series events have larger prize pools that this opening tournament. What a way to get the show on the road!

High-Quality Tournaments For an Affordable Buy-in

It’s not only about the money, although there’s plenty of it. We’ve designed Monster Series to give you, our loyal players, the opportunity to compete in a series of high-quality tournaments at a fraction of other major festivals’ buy-ins.

This means almost all of the 82 scheduled tournaments comes with a buy-in of between $1.10 and $55, with a $109 High Roller and $265 Super High Roller thrown in for good measure.

Just because the Monster Series’ tournaments have buy-ins at the more affordable end of the scale doesn’t mean you’re sacrificing on quality. Far from it. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing in a $1.10 buy-in tournament or a $55 buy-in, you’ll get to enjoy a superb poker experience that wouldn’t be out of place in events with buy-in 20-50x what you’ve paid to enter.

Less Late Reg, Only One Re-Entry

The first thing you’ll notice is none of the Monster Series events has more than two starting flights. This is to keep matters fair for those who cannot fire multiple bullets when chasing glory. You’ll also notice none of the events allows more than a single re-entry for the same reasons. Anyone playing a Monster Series tournament has a pure poker experience.

Then there’s the reduced late registration period. Late registration only remains open for a maximum of two hours, meaning the professional value hunters can’t and won’t be jumping in at the last minute hoping to scrape a min-cash. It also means you’ll know exactly how many opponents you need to outlast to become a Monster Series champion much sooner.

Incredible Blind Structures

Blind structure is a vital component of any tournament and our team has devised some amazing Monster Series structures. Low buy-ins doesn’t have to equate to low-quality crapshoot tournaments and the Monster Series is living proof of that.

Take the Monster #15 – Deepstack: $20K Gtd for example. This event only costs $11 to enter, less if you win some tournament dollars in our satellites and use them to enter. Everyone in this event starts with a generous helping of 200,000 chips and plays to blinds starting at 500/1,000/130a. The blinds increase every 10-minutes and are still only at 2,500/5,000/630a at the 10th level! The $1.10 edition of this event follows the same structure too so it doesn’t matter if you pay $1.10 or $11, you’re getting the same high-quality enjoyment.

Monster Series Highlights

It’s difficult to single out any of the Monster Series tournaments because they’re all special in their own right. One event you simply have to play, however, is Monster #26 – Main Event.

This comes in $5.50 buy-in ($30,000 guaranteed) and $55 buy-in ($300,000 guaranteed) levels with Day 1A commencing at 20:30 CET on November 14. Day 1B starts at the same time on November 15, with the second and final day shuffling up and dealing at 20:30 CET on November 16.
