If you’ve been following our 2013 World Series Of Poker update you’ll know that the team put in a great effort this year around. A total of 6,352 entrants created a prize pool of $59,708,800, with the eventual winner taking home $8,359,531 Today is Day 6 with just 68 players now remaining!
Out But Not Down!
And although for PartyPoker the adventure is over the good news is that we managed to get two players into the money with Robin Ylitalo from Sweden finishing 141st and Mad Marvin Rettenmaier finishing in 99th.
Marvin mentioned that he “busted the main qq vs kk to Carlos Mortensen for 1,4 Million pot… Obviously very disappointed but I played my best… Life goes on!!!” And by coincidence Mortenesen actually won the WSOP Main Even back in 2001.
And with both of them cashing for a significant payday of $50,752 life sure does go on! It also seems that after the WSOP Marvin will remain in that number one sweet spot right on top of the Global Poker Index.
